Arriving in Sarajevo by air offers convenient access from various destinations. Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) serves as the primary gateway to the city. There are direct flight connections to Sarajevo from major cities including Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Vienna, Zurich, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Dubai, Zagreb, Belgrade, any many more. The airport is located 10 kilometers southwest of Sarajevo city center, making it easily accessible by taxi, bus, or private transportation in less than 20 minutes.

By Car

Sarajevo’s central location in the Balkans makes it accessible by road from various European cities, offering travelers the opportunity to explore the region’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage along the way.

Public Transport

Tramway stations are located all across the city. The nearest tramway station is located 300 meters from Hotel Hills. One way tramway ride costs 1 EUR.

Also, transportation by city bus to all destinations is possible from the starting station 300m away. The central bus station, which provides transport to the tourism destinations around Sarajevo, is located 20 minutes away by tram or bus.

Hop on and hop off city sightseeing is also possible.
